- • In the Arrange menu, select the Constrain... option. This lets you turn off the
- "snap to point" option to move points closer to other points.
- • You can also change the angle that AI considers horizontal and vertical.
- • Type a new angle in the dialog box. Now, the horizontal and vertical axes are rotated to this degree.
- • Anything that is drawn on the page is tilted by this angle.
- • For instance, typing 30°, then drawing straight lines by using the Shift key, draws horizontal and vertical lines all rotated 30°.
- • Also, entering type automatically rotates it 30°
- • To set AI back for horizontal and vertical axes, enter 0° in the Constrain dialog box.
